We'll try to keep the legal gobbledy-gook to a minimum.
1) This site is free for everyone interested in Independent Film. We don't charge for our services.
2) We reserve the right to moderate our content and our users, so play nice and keep it indie film related.
3) We don't share your personal information with anyone. We don't sell your name or your contact info. We do our best to protect you from trolls, spammers and other bottom feeders. But they are technologically sneaky bass turds, so in the end, we don't guarantee that somebody might not find some nefarious way to scrape your info from the site. Please don't blame us. We do the best we can.
4) We do not manage 3rd-party services, partners or advertisers - including free email. Email service, the services of advertisers, and the services of companies or individuals discussed or recommended by members or the staff of theindiefilm in the links, forums or other areas of this site, are personal recommendations, and theindiefilm.com is not responsible for the quality or reliability of their services, including privacy. Please carefully review the privacy and service policies of these providers and direct your inquiries or concerns directly to them.
5) We expect to keep the site up and running as long as humanly possible. But life changes. Though we don't expect to, we reserve the right to close our doors without notice.

While the administrators and moderators of this site will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to this site express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. Creating multiple accounts for a single user is not allowed. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this site have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
